Join our Ashtanga yoga workshop in Sydkoster off Sweden’s west coast. Experience fantastic nature and stunning sea life. We’ll practise yoga in Studio Lövås and cycle afterwards to Kosters Gardens for breakfast.

During our time on Sydkoster it’s good to rent a bicycle since the island is almost entirely free from cars. Book your own room/house as soon as possible.

This retreat is perfect for you if you’d like to deepen your yoga practice and develop your own pranayama practice, as well as exploring a very special part of Sweden where the wind and the ocean meets greenery and rocks in a unique way.

The food is made with love and is organic and vegetarian.

To get to Sydkoster you’ll need to take a ferry from Strömstad. This costs around 150 SEK return. If you come by car you can park in Strömstad.

 Included in the price

  • A total of 7 classes: 5 mornings of Mysore practice and 2 afternoons with yoga philosophy and pranayama

  • A personal pranayama sequence
  • Vegetarian breakfast Monday-Friday
  • One vegetarian buffet dinner at Kosters Trädgårdar on Wednesday

Schedule

  • Mysore style Ashtanga yoga practice Monday-Friday 8-10am
  • Breakfast at Kosters Trädgårdar from 10:30am
  • Two afternoon classes on Monday & Thursday 5-7 pm, covering topics on yoga philosophy, the human energy system and always including pranayama
  • Dinner at Kosters Trädgårdar Wednesday 18:30
  • Each student will be given a personal pranayama practice at the end of the course
