This deepening course is for those who have had a regular practice for a long time and have practised with me before. It offers a wonderful opportunity to journey much deeper into your yoga practice and discover the tools for real transformation. The course is spread over two years. We will meet for six days at a time of full-time studies, twice a year. So, there will be four weeks of teaching time in total. Around this you will need to study different parts of yoga philosophy. A 200-hour online anatomy course will be included, from David Keil of Yoganatomy. There will be an anatomy lecture with Rebecca Carlowitz. And Agneta Markgen will also give a lecture on the nervous system.

Take a break from Christmas and come and focus on different aspects of yoga for an afternoon. Maria will lead the class up to Janu Sirsasana, then you can practice on your own with assistance from both Maria and Anette Book. This will be followed by yoga philosophy and pranayama. All levels welcome!

This course is for anyone who would like to deepen their understanding of their asana practice, focus on lifts and jump through, forward bendings and bandhawork. The name and meanings of the asanas in sanskrit will be chanted. We will as well venture deeper into pranayama, with the aim to dive deeper into the practice with a fuller understanding towards a healing and healthy practice with yoga asanas and pranayama. Everyone is welcome!

The afternoons will be based on yoga philosophy, technique, pranayama, meditation and lots of joy. There will be time for individual attention, to develop your own personal pranayama practice to bring home, and to dive deeper into the system of yoga. We will have lovely days!

This workshop will include four mornings of Mysore practice and two evenings of pranayama and yoga philosophy. The morning classes will deepen your understanding of your asana practice in relation to the breath, bandhas and drishtis. You will benefit from individual attention and be able to move deeper within.
Wed 15 May – Fri 17 May 2019
Three mornings of Mysore practice and one evening with a short talk about the benefits of pranayama and the effects on the body, mind and soul, as well as the possibility to create balance in the unbalanced parts of ourselves.We will as well practice pranayama during the evening. Lighter snacks will be served. This workshop is for you whom would like more personal attention and to deepen your understanding of your own practice as well as go deeper in the pranayama. Everyone that attends the whole course will be given a personal pranayama practice at the end of the course. The sequence will be give according to your needs and to the pranic pulse that will be read in the mornings by Maria.(Only for the one who attends the full course)

Yoga Rocks retreat centre is set in a magical location on top of rocks overlooking the sleepning dragon. This retreat is perfect if you would like to deepen your practice or perhaps to begin a practice and gain a deeper understanding of yoga – as well as enjoying a vacation in a beautiful place on earth. The classes will be held in English and you can stay for either one or two weeks. The food is made with love and all vegetarian. Bookings are taken from November 2018.

Two evenings with philosophy and pranayama. As well a yin yoga class. You choose what time in the morning and what time you like to come for the yin yoga class. Max 16 people in each group.

This retreat is a unique possibility to to develop your practice individually during 12 mornings at Palm Grove Beach Resorts fantastic yoga shala by the ocean. You’ll be staying in charming bungalows by the beach and the food is cooked with love and care. The afternoons will be a mix of pranayama, technique, understanding of the chakras and yoga philosophy. You’ll be able to develop your own individual pranayama practice to bring home for ongoing practice. The sequence will be given according to your needs and your pranic puls that will be taken by Maria. A morning meditations will be held by the seaas well as a fire cermony. We will have excellent musicians holding a Kirtan for us one evening. We’ll also have time to visit some markets and nice restaurants in the area. This retreat is perfect if you would like to deepen your practice and understanding of yoga as well as enjoying a vacation in a beautiful place on earth. Anyone with some experience of Ashtanga yoga can participate. The classes will be held in English.
